When you look for a padded leather strap, what you immediately encounter are bulky straps that seem to be bloated and overstuffed. Strapsco’s is not. It’s perfect on my Timex Marlin hand-wound. And who else sells short sizes? The brown leather is just the right shade, a very dark but warm brown, as you can see on the photo.

The perfect way to change the appearance of your watch. I enjoy the contrast sticking and quality of the leather. One thing to beware of is the strap is pretty stiff and takes some time to shape to your wrist. I would recommend bending the strap before installing to help with fitment.

The red is flashy but looks wicked cool. Even when it is cinched down (normal length, 7” wrist, 2nd to last hole) the leather on both sides stays in good shape and doesn’t show any unnatural distress. I think these are excellent straps but they are fairly shiny so keep that in mind. If you are looking for a flatter or more matte finish – this would not be for you.

Brown – The quality of the strap feels excellent. The leather does have some shine to it, so be aware. I noticed on the brown there was more wear on the area between adjustment holes but not in a significant manner. The padding is comfortable me and the straps do not feel heavy.

Excellent strap in terms of quality so far. This leather is quite shiny so if you aren’t looking for that, don’t get this! I would describe this as a bit on the dressier side, in the same way that your grandpa only considers “slacks” as pants for going out – it’s not too much but definitely a little nicer than casual. Comfortable on the wrist, doesn’t feel heavy. I’m a 7” wrist so I am down to the second to last hole, which is snug but not tight. My advice when you get one is to wear it to bed a few nights – it will break in and soften rather quickly. The padded part will conform to your wrist fairly quickly. I would probably get one of each color!

I wanted to change up the look of my Citizen Brycen AW180 all titanium watch so I settled on the black vintage padded leather strap as the watch has a black face. I would have also purchased the dark brown version of this strap however they were out of stock, so I went with the non-padded vintage leather strap in classic cigar instead.
