Great strap. Feels well made and durable. Make it complete with a deployment clasp. This will save the strap from creases and eventual splitting. Look for the single fold butterfly clasp on Strapsco. At first, it’s a little stiff and straight. Before putting it on the watch, preform the pin end, then put it on. This will help breaking it in.

Okay, one caveat to padded leather straps…you should only bend them in one direction. The reason for this is if you twist or bend it the opposite direction, since the leather stretches, you’ll get wrinkles way faster. If you want that look, no worries, but my advice is to get a deployant clasp to install on this watch, this will minimize creasing but still let you keep that smooth padded look. I actually LOVE the way this one wears on the wrist. There is some break in needed since its padded, but when you get it fitted to the curve of your wrist, it wears like an old pair of shoes lol. I went with the Rust color and you can see how it pairs with my brown dialed B&R watch. I need more colors now!

Really, really cheap looking. The rust color is a lot lighter than I expected – it looks closer the tan color shown on the screen. It might look better with some aging, but it looks so bad I’m not sure I can put it on the watch to age it.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the strap didn’t meet your expectations. While we take pride in using quality materials, we understand that the color may have looked different than expected, especially depending on screen settings and lighting.

Have purchased from different sources. I always come back to Strapcos. No further comment needed. 🤗 Also I installed it on a 1971 Sandoz..

The standard size was way too long for my 6.5″ wrists and the short is well…pretty darned short, so doesn’t appear there’s a happy medium, but the short works better. So far as the strap itself it’s stiff, way stiff and after days of wearing it, it’s just as stiff as day one. Really tough to get the watch to sit flat on the wrist given the stiffness of the leather. Didn’t spend a ton, but I’ve bought better straps for $25. My recommendation is to spend a bit more and buy the better straps. These are just too stiff.
StrapsCo –
Padded straps are naturally stiffer at the beginning and have a break-in period. They should loosen up and form to your wrist in a couple of weeks.

Good quality and a good price.

Replaced band on my son’s Citizen. He couldn’t be happier with the look and feel. Hmm mayhaps I will refit my Zenith Surf.

Surprisingly Great Strap – Now in My Main Rotation
I originally picked up this vintage leather strap for my Rolex 1625 Turn-O-Graph, and I was blown away by how clean, comfortable, and well-made it is. The quality and fit were spot-on right out of the gate, and it instantly gave the watch a fresh but classic vibe.
What really surprised me is how well this strap stacks up against some of my higher-end leather straps that cost 3–4x more. It’s not trying to be flashy—it just delivers where it matters: comfort, quality stitching, and that perfect taper. I’ve since started rotating it with my other vintage pieces, and it’s quickly becoming a go-to.
For the price, this strap is a steal. Definitely found my new source for straps—this one’s a winner.
