I bought this brown crocodile-pattern leather strap to give the watch a more traditional dress appearance and reduce the visual impact of its polished rose-gold bracelet. The brown leather strap visually mutes the rose-gold tone while still complementing the warm case color and the deep aubergine dial. The strap fits well and is noticeably more comfortable than the original bracelet. The leather configuration reduces the overall weight on my wrist, which makes the 39mm Surveyor easier to wear throughout the day. The rose-gold buckle creates a cohesive appearance between the strap and case.

This is the strap option to go with if you want a dressy looking crocodile embossed leather without contrast stitching on the sides or other stitching at the lugs/clasp end. You get a clean, minimalist strap that has some shine to it without being too glossy. I do wish the strap had a bit more of taper to it, as it would look even more elegant, but I still think it looks great on the wrist. I paired the navy blue color with my two-tone Tudor Date-Day. The thinness of the strap makes it super comfortable and flexible on the wrist. There is no break in period needed and I can see this getting even softer with time.

Huge upgrade from the stock strap on my new Marlin. It’s so thin and comfortable. Highly recommended for dress watches on the thinner side. You will not be disappointed.
