Wow. I’m so impressed with these Sailcloth Explorer straps – they look and feel amazing. The deployant clasp feels solid and secure, no give or loose feel when you press down on it. I ordered 3 of these straps (with some discount codes) – 1x gray 20mm and 2x green/brown 20mm/21mm for less than half of what I paid for the luxury alternative from Australia. To be fair, I haven’t received that strap yet so I can’t compare their comfort/quality but from a value perspective you could buy 4x of these Explorer straps for the price of one – that strap better damn good to be 4x as good as this. I’ll find out in a week or so and will update this review.
Overall, these blew away my expectations. The construction feels top notch, they are very supple and flexible. The inner lining is also incredibly soft, it’s been a great few days and I’ve had a hard time deciding which of these 3x watch/strap combo I like the most. I think the HydroConquest GMT might have the lead thanks to that green dial.

An amazing strap makes a great watch even better. Is there anything better than sailcloth done right? Great fit, the detail with the stitching and color is awesome and it’s an enhancement to the Scurfa Diver One I put it on. StrapsCo is my go to sailcloth – value for money compared to many other brands. (And the deployant clasp? It’s a great one).

I installed this strap with deployant clasp onto my Citizen Brycen field/aviator style watch and I just LOVE this stunning olive green and brown color combo! The green and brown tones are complimentary to the dial color and I appreciate how the brown contrast stitching matches that strip of leather that reinforces the buckle holes. Being sailcloth, its going to handle sweat and water without any issues so you can really do it all with this strap option. I’ve owned and tried a lot of premium strapsco bands…this is in my top 3 for sure!
