While the product looks great aesthetically, it unfortunately falls short in terms of practicality and design compatibility. I purchased this item alongside a blue leather pin-buckle strap, but they cannot be used together due to several structural flaws:
• Improper Seating: The pin-buckle end of the mechanism is too thick, which prevents it from seating properly or fitting securely.
• Sizing Mismatch: The pin on the strap end is twice the size of the pre-drilled holes in the strap. Forcing it through would permanently stretch and ruin the leather, making future adjustments impossible.
Overall, the concept behind this product is excellent, but the practical execution and engineering need significant improvement.
Furthermore, I am highly disappointed by the return policy. Charging a $4.99 return fee for an item that is physically incompatible and non-functional is unreasonable. While I understand return fees for a simple change of mind, customers should not be penalized for product defects or design flaws.
