Its hand-held design is ergonomic and lightweight. Whether I’m at a jewelry store or an antique shop, it’s always in my bag. The LED light is surprisingly bright, and yet it doesn’t drain the battery quickly. The magnifier feels sturdy in hand and it illuminates the object perfectly. The magnification appears to be correct, however distortion occurs at the edges of the lens and the distance to the subject needs to be very small (less than 1 inch) otherwise the image is out of focus or inverted. This lens is still useful to see previously identified details with another lens of lower magnification or with the naked eye, that is, you must already have a point/detail as a goal beforehand. Anyway, it’s nothing spectacular but it can still be useful. I believe the description on the website could be more comprehensive and include image captures of the lens over objects/watches demonstrating these details.
