Grand Seiko White Birch Dial
The White Birch dial is one of Grand Seiko’s most recognizable modern dials, inspired by the silver birch trees found near the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi.
Introduced in 2021 with the SLGH005 featuring the new Evolution 9 design language and Hi-Beat 36000 Caliber 9SA5, the birch-inspired dial features deep, organic grooves that replicate the texture of birch bark, creating a highly detailed and dynamic surface. The following year, Grand Seiko unveiled SLGA009, a Spring Drive-powered variation with the 9RA2 movement. The Grand Seiko Peacock dial debuted in 2018 with the SBGJ227, a limited edition of 700 pieces. Its rich green dial features a fine radial pattern, inspired by the iridescent plumage of a peacock’s feathers.
