I didn’t want to review this bracelet but I got an email prompting me to review. 1st I’d like to say I have previously bought (2) jubilee style and (1) oyster style bracelets for my SRPE51 and 53. They are great upgrades with solid endlinks and fit well.
This bracelet for the Seiko SNXS series (oyster style with polished center links) is exactly what I have been looking for as I have 5 SNXS (73, 75, 77, 79, 80, dont have the 81 as I can’t find one) has hollow endlinks (i knew this going in). But when I got it removed a few links to fit and put it on my SNXS73 and was disappointed. The endlinks don’t follow the contour of the lugs and the biggest issue is the gap between the end links and the 1st link. I didn’t put the calipers on it, I didn’t need to the gap is unsightly. Also the way its made you can see into the end link where the 1st link joins and its obvious its hollow. This watch deserves better. There has to be millions of the SNXSs out there and I would bet there are other owners like me who would be willing to pay the additional cost for solid endlinks. However even with solid endlinks the gap to the 1st link should be resolved. I hope Strapsco decides to source/provide a bracelet for the SNXS that has solid endlinks and a better fit to the 1st link. I wanted this bracelet to be good so bad.
