Let’s take a look at how to install smartwatch adapters onto your watch strap.
In this video, we’ll be using Apple Watch adapters, but the same process is used for any other adapters, including Fitbit, Garmin, Samsung and others.
If your watch strap has standard spring bars, you’ll want to begin by inserting one corner of the strap into the adapter, while inserting the spring bar into the small hole inside the adapter.
Next, line up the other end of the spring bar to the other hole, and use a spring bar tool to compress the spring bar.
While compressed, push the other corner of the spring bar into place, and allow the spring bar to click into the hole.
Now repeat the process for the other adapter and other half of the watch strap.
Gently tug on the adapter to make sure everything is securely in place.
If your watch has quick-release spring bars, the process is very similar to using standard spring bars.
Begin by inserting one corner of the strap into the adapter, while inserting the spring bar into the small hole inside the adapter.
Next, line up the other end of the spring bar to the other hole. Use your fingernail to pull the small quick-release lever towards the center of the strap to compress the spring bar.
While compressed, push the other corner of the spring bar into place, and allow the spring bar to click into the hole.
Now repeat the process for the other adapter and other half of the watch strap.
Gently tug on the adapter to make sure everything is securely in place, and you’re all done.
