I wanted a unique strap for my Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Solar, and with interest in magnetic straps, here we are. I’ve had it for about two weeks and am very impressed. The band quick link holds securely to the watch, and the width is perfect. The silicone rubber appears to be high quality, and the magnets are nicely spaced, making the strap look very nice (I bought black). Putting the band on your wrist for the first time is interesting since you may question whether the strap should be secured towards the watch itself, or if you should go away from the tightening loop and secure it under your wrist. I’ve chosen to go under my wrist, and opposite of the tightening loop. The first time I put the band on this way, it was odd, but after the first time, I’m really liking it. The magnets hold very tightly, and aligned on the strap itself. One thing I’ll point out is that with the OEM Garmin silicone strap I was getting a significant dry spot on my wrist, and no matter what I did, I couldn’t prevent it from coming back. So far with this new strap, no dry spot! I’ll circle back after I have more experience with the strap, but I’m pleased with my purchase!

I bought this band in black and it is my favorite of all the styles I have. It holds securely and has nearly infinite adjustments. It’s a little odd to put on at first because the straps want to stick to themselves but you get used to that right away. It’s also a little odd that my wrist sticks to metal tables or other metal objects that contact the band, but it’s not a really strong attraction – more of a subtlety that you get used to quickly. I was afraid the band would peel loose if the strap end was bumped since it’s only magnetic, but only once (when my wrist was stuck between two objects) did that happen, so it has a nice secure feeling and hold itself snug. The loop is soft and very flexible so it has no plastic or metal lump in the band. I need to order more colors.
