I have taken to buying job lots of discarded watches, cleaning and repairing them and putting new matching straps on them and then giving them away. I call them rescue watches. I believe that we need to have respect for the fine craftsmanship that went into these items and not discard them but rather cherish our technical heritage. I am doing that in my own small way.]]></description>
