GMTs are not practical for my lifestyle and I’m not a fan of turtle watches. However I just got my Seiko srpe99 not a turtle prospex solar diver with the Pepsi bezel and it is absolutely beautiful. Seiko makes great products for everyone.

Normally I don’t really go for Rolex, not because of the price, it’s just that they are just a watch with a heap of high end marketing, making people think there is value there. They seldom tell you the day, just the date, which is not of much value if you don’t even know what day it is. In saying all this, out of the Pepsi style watches I think the Rolex is by far the nicer and if I were to buy a Rolex it would be that one.

I would have added Steinhart to the list. Great watches, and cheap for the specs. They even have a classic sized 39MM version.
