I got the steel link band because the original silicone band that comes with the Instinct reacts with my skin, and the metal doesn’t hardly at all. It’s a very good band and fits well once enough links were taken out (I have smaller wrists). I didn’t need a link removal tool; a tiny screwdriver will work just as well, along with some elbow grease. One thing that possibly could be improved upon is including the instructions with the band itself rather than just online, but I don’t consider that worth taking off a star. I am primarily using this for work, so I am not necessarily concerned with the finish; that being said, it is a good looking product (I got the black version). Overall, I would highly recommend this product.
