I’ve had my Suunto Core for 11 years (bought in 2013). I wore it for the last three years of service in the Air Force plus a deployment to Afghanistan from Oct 2015 - Apr 2016.

The original strap finally deteriorated, cracked, and eventually tore off a few years ago, so it has sat in a drawer ever since.

I’ve recently started getting back into wearing watches and bought myself a watch box to display my pieces over the years. I dug the Suunto out of the drawer, replaced the battery and decided to get a new strap to display it.

I bought this here strap and was so excited to put it on and wear the Suunto for old times sake. Well, I just received the strap and pulling it out of the package I could tell it would be comfortable - more comfortable than the hard-ish original strap.

For one, the mini screwdrivers that accompanied the straps were a nice thought, however they weren't the right type for my strap pins - mine have the slotted screws vs the torx screws, so the torx screwdrivers were useless.

Secondly, the holes on the strap were not aligned properly for the long, tail-end strap. I was wrestling with the dang thing for a hot minute and finally muscled the pins through. I’m disappointed with the way the tail-end strap looks resting on the curvature of the watch. The ends are flared out and do not sit flush like the buckle-end strap. The short, buckle-end was better aligned and was easier to install with a little manipulation.

I would have given three stars given the misalignment of holes, the flared out ends, and the difficulty I had getting them installed to the watch body, but the strap is so comfortable and since the silicon case covers up most of the imperfections I’m bumping it up to four stars.

I absolutely love this rubber strap with case for my Suunto Core. The strap itself is perfect in terms of fit and feel and appearance. I planned to switch to a more tactical band but I'm so pleased with this one that I am not going to change it!

I think the rubber strap with case for Suunto Core is a fantastic choice. The textured design ensures a secure fit on my wrist, and the flexible silicone rubber is incredibly comfortable for all day wear. I appreciate the included protective cases and screwdriver for easy strap replacement. Definitely recommend it!
