Swapped out the buckle for a black one to match my case and it looks great. Wears well too despite the thickness. Would be five stars if it had quick release spring bars.

Overall the band is frayed and holds decently together. Here are just some things that don’t make this watch band 5 stars.

MAJOR:
a) the buckle constantly separates from retaining pin and band, due to the drilled hole in buckle is not centered, shallow, and too close to edge causing retaining pin to slide/pop out, poor craftsmanship.

MINOR:
b) the fraying requires using a lighter to singe the edge once a month. Glue is used to hold frayed material instead of stitching.

I’ve been looking for a thick and rugged strap for my Praesto, as soon as I saw this canvas strap I knew I needed to try it. After I received it I immediately threw it on and it fit my watch perfectly. I’ve got a lot of refined canvas straps for other watches but never one like this. It’s thick, sturdy, comfortable once you break it in, and uncommon. Great conversation starter as well. Definitely would recommend.
